FT-IR Concentration Retrieval Training for Advanced Environmental Monitoring Equipment Operators.
Recently, a training session on FT-IR concentration retrieval techniques was conducted for operators of advanced environmental monitoring equipment. The program covered methods to calculate concentrations using FT-IR, as well as optimal measurement strategies to minimize errors caused by environmental factors (such as temperature, humidity, and cloud cover) and measurement conditions (including stack diameter and exhaust gas temperature). Participants gained practical knowledge for more accurate and efficient air quality monitoring.
The training also introduced Novascope Inc.’s advanced air monitoring instruments, including the AQ-Profiler and Scanning Aerosol LiDAR (ASL), highlighting their potential applications in remote atmospheric monitoring and emphasizing the importance of using cutting-edge technology for air pollution observation.
The session was attended by Mr. Hanlim Lee, CEO of Novascope Inc., along with participants from the National Institute of Environmental Research, Jeonbuk Regional Environmental Office, Seoul Metropolitan Air Quality Office, and Geumgang River Basin Environmental Office. The training took place at Pukyong National University’s Daeyeon and Yongdang campuses, providing a valuable platform to share the latest developments in air quality management and measurement technology.
